Baz Here is a distinguished photographer based in Los Angeles, blending the technical precision of an MFA in Photography from the Photo Arts Conservatory at the New York Film Academy with a deep passion for capturing authentic moments. As a multidisciplinary artist, Baz’s work delves into the intersection of sound and visual aesthetics, utilizing self-portraiture to challenge perceptions of race and queer identity politics. His series “White on White” specifically interrogates the nuances of white privilege.

Baz’s work has been prominently exhibited at numerous venues, including The Hive, The Getty Center, Gallery 825, Gallerie Sparta, LACDA, Beyond Baroque, Art Share LA, and the Los Angeles LGBT Center Advocate and Gochis Galleries. His artistic contributions have garnered attention from The Advocate and Cultural Weekly, cementing his place in the contemporary art scene.

In addition to his artistic practice, Baz is a dedicated educator, teaching photography at four esteemed institutions: Santa Monica College, UCLA Extension, New York Film Academy, and the College of the Canyons.
